wow - all you have to do is add this parameter to a search string: &adtest=on
http://www.google.com/search?adtest=onearch?adtest=on

this will allow you to view how ads will appear, and see the exact URL that willl open. You do not accrue impressions or clicks using this tool.

what we really need is a tool to be able to choose our location to test local ads outside of our region.
