Using a Mac OS? this is a way to test your pagerank. personally i have found it to be fairly inaccurate, but its here.

I am not using a mac but it worked for me also. The websites I checked it worked quite well for me. The part that I liked the best about it is that is gives decimals, so I know how close (I could be) I am to the next PR level.

it appears that this pagerank tool has been improved, and appears fairly accurate at the moment. However, most SEO professionals do not give weight to PR, and focus on creating quality websites.

I agree. Quality websites are the best thing you can do. However, PR is still important and I don't think it should be ignored. Both quality and link popularity are needed for good rankings.
