A constant struggle for link builders was measuring the amount of inbound links to a website. Search engines give wildly different results, and Google is downright stingy when reporting backlinks. There appears to be a solution however.

appears to only list the good links to your site, approximately PR 4 or better.

The lesser known method:

[b:268b02d331][url=http://www.google.com/search?q=link:+www.ask-marketing-experts.com]link: www.ask-marketing-experts.com[/url][/b:268b02d331] [note the space before www]

This appears to list ALL links to the site. Amazing hidden method to find out who REALLY links to you!

and yet another, Google, method is to search for:

[url=http://www.google.com/search?q='ask-marketing-experts.com']'www.yoursitename.com'[/url]

[search for your URL wrapped in single quotes]

this was actually recently recommended by someone at Google via email when questioned about backlinks and those that were not showing... you'll find that throughout the month backlinks can vary and so this method grants some insight into the 'big picture'.

I think that is how it used to be. I am starting to see more and more that when you do check for backlinks in Google, it also has tons of results lower then PR4. Even PR0 links show up...
