Since the middle of November, Google's search results have been very unstable, unpredictable, and in many instances, irrelevant.


I believe that Google can't leave the current results up long for the following reasons:

1. None of the other major search engines are any better than Google,
and most are generally worse, crowded with sponsored results.

2. Most Google users do not realize that the quality of search
the results have deteriorated. If people cannot easily find what they are looking for using the same keywords as before, they assume that
its THEIR fault, not the search engines. They will use different methods and revise their search methods, usually unconsciously. It won't be long before people revise their searching using a different search property.

This wont last. If people can find what they are looking for in a different location, thats where they'll go. Even though Google is THE strongest online brand, no company is invincible.
