Can anyone offer about when the next google dance should be? I heard sometime in the next 2 weeks.

Also, will this one be more normal, or should we expect something drastically different?

There is speculation that the google dance as we know it may fade away. It is possible that google has developed the technology to rank pages on the fly, creating continuously updated results pages.

we shall see...
