|
|
Hi,
I am using a mailer... to send out many emails.
This mailer have host setting where I can enter server name, port and user ID.
So, my question is: These free web based email account like hot mail or netscape.com do provide you with server name etc?
I do not want to send out my emails using my email server provider - but if possible use another one.
I though if it was possible to use a free web based email settings to send out emails.
Thanks, and hope you can help,
KARL

Generally the free email accounts will not work for such a purpose - also they'll not give you server info like the mailer is asking for... additionally even if you were to use a free email account for something like this the majority of the email would get filtered and never read.
These settings have been put into place to eliminate peoples ability to spam... if you're not spamming then you shouldn't be concerned about using your hosted account server address if your list is double, or triple opt-in, and if you are spamming then shame on you! |
